Florida Town Makes First Week Of February 'Donald J. Trump Week'

The town of Frostproof, FL announced this week that every first week of February will be declared “Donald J. Trump Week” in order to honor the former President.

"Former President Donald J. Trump was overwhelmingly supported, and received 76.43% of the votes in Frostproof, Fla., Precinct 537, won the state of Florida twice and received more votes than any incumbent in United States history," wrote Mayor Jon Albert in a proclamation.

Anthony Sabatini, the Florida State Representative who proposed a bill renaming U.S. Route 27 as “President Donald J. Trump Highway” called the week measure a “great initiative.”

This is the first time a president has been given a full week in his honor.
