Governor Ron DeSantis: Flags To Fly at Half-Staff for Rush Limbaugh

Governor Ron DeSantis told Florida’s WCTV flags will fly at half-staff in honor of conservative talk radio legend Rush Limbaugh.

“I know they’re still figuring out the arrangements, but what we do when there’s things of this magnitude, once the date of interment for Rush is announced, we’re gonna be lowering the flags to half-staff,” the governor told WCTV.

Conservative radio icon Rush Limbaugh passed away earlier this week after a year long battle with lung cancer. He was 70 years old. The governor said once funeral arrangements are made for Rush, Florida will lower the flags.

Conservatives across the country have been mourning the loss of the voice that brought truth, logic and common sense to their afternoons for the last 30 years.

Twitter was thrilled with Governor DeSantis’s announcement.

New York Times Best-Selling Author Brigitte Gabriel tweeted out about the announcement on Friday morning.
