Queen strips Epstein-tied Prince Andrew of royal benefits and military titles
Buckingham Palace announced Queen Elizabeth stripped her son Prince Andrew of all military titles and royal benefits, he is essentially a private citizen with few protections from being a royal.
Prince Andrew, a once close friend of the disgraced late Jeffrey Epstein, has lost all his military duties and royal benefits. A group of United Kingdom veterans petitioned the queen to punished Prince Andrew, who is facing a sexual assault allegation and questions about his relationship with Epstein.
“Buckingham Palace announced Thursday that Queen Elizabeth has stripped her son Prince Andrew of all military titles and patronages and he will no longer be entitled to use His Royal Highness (HRH) as a form of address,” Breitbart reported.
“The action – effective immediately – means he is now forced to defend his sexual abuse case in a U.S. court as a ‘private citizen.’ The civil case, brought by Virginia Giuffre, is due to move into a discovery phase soon where Andrew may have to sit for an interview under oath – known as a deposition,” Breitbart said.
“More than 150 UK military veterans have written to Queen Elizabeth and asked her to strip Prince Andrew of his honorary military titles. Their call follows his relationship with the late, disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein,” Breitbart reported on January 13.
