Deputy White House Press Secretary Resigns Amid Sexual Harassment Allegations

Deputy White House Press Secretary, TJ Ducklo submitted his resignation Saturday amid allegations that he sexually harassed and threatened a reporter.

Ducklo released a statement via his official Twitter account where stated that he, “used language that no women should ever have to hear from anyone, especially in a situation where she was just trying to do her job. It was language that was abhorrent, disrespectful, and unacceptable.”

The disgraced former Deputy White House Press Secretary continued to say he was, “devastated to have embarrassed and disappointed my White House colleagues and President Biden, and after a discussion with White House communications leadership tonight, I resigned my position and will not be returning from administrative leave,”

Joe Concha, a columnist for The Hill tweeted Saturday evening alleging White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki and White House Senior Aid Anita Dunn were made aware of Ducklo’s “tirade” on January 21st. Concha claimed they only took action after “the Vanity Fair” story on February 12th because they had no other choice.

TJ Ducklo’s resignation comes a day after he was suspended following a Vanity Fair story about his attack against a female Politico reporter, in which he allegedly threatened to “destroy” her.
