President Trump Announces 2 New Attorneys to Head Legal Team for the Impeachment Trial

The office of the 45th President of the United States announced Sunday evening that the former President’s legal team would feature lawyers David Schoen and Bruce L Castor, Jr.

President Trump’s official statement made it clear that bringing on lawyers with a national profile and significant trial experience was of the utmost importance to the former President.

David Schoen stated that, “It is an honor to represent th 45th President Donald J Trump, and the United States Constitution.”

Castor added that he considered it a, “privilege to represent the 45th President. The strength of our Constitution is about to be tested like never before in our history. It is strong and resilient. A document written for the ages, and it will triumph over partisanship yet again, and always.”

David Schoen, a defense lawyer based out of Montgomery Alabama, most notably met with disgraced billionaire Jeffrey Epstein about potentially representing him prior to his death.

Bruce Castor Jr. is the former Montgomery County DA as well as the former Pennsylvania Attorney General.
