Senator Rick Scott suggests removing Biden with 25th Amendment

The Florida Republican is not the only public official or national security leader to suggest Biden may not be competent enough to serve as president.

As radical Islamic terrorists re-establish dominance of Afghanistan, one U.S. Senator has raised the possibility that President Joe Biden does not have the mental competence to carry out his duties.

“After the disastrous events in Afghanistan, we must confront a serious question: Is Joe Biden capable of discharging the duties of his office or has time come to exercise the provisions of the 25th Amendment,” Senator Rick Scott asked on Twitter.

He is not the only one who has called on President Biden to resign, as criticism mounts over the administration’s failed handling of the evacuation of Afghanistan.

Former President Donald Trump has also said his successor should resign, citing the failed pullout.

"It is time for Joe Biden to resign in disgrace for what he has allowed to happen to Afghanistan, along with the tremendous surge in COVID, the Border catastrophe, the destruction of energy independence, and our crippled economy,” Trump said in a statement.

Other political officials with expertise in foreign policy sharply criticized Biden.

“A massive collapse of American leadership on the world stage. Joe Biden will go down as one of the biggest failures in US presidential history,” Nile Gardner, a former aide to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher said.

A former White House physician has suggested multiple times that President Biden needs to take a cognitive abilities test.

“Biden is obviously not mentally capable to lead. His inaction is damaging to this country, and we're going to pay for it for a LONG time!” Congressman Ronny Jackson said.
