REPORT: University of Virginia paid Critical Race Theory lecturer $541 per minute

University of Virginia took taxpayer dollars and sent it to a far-left activist and CRT proponent Ibram Kendi for a one hour speech. In response, the school says it welcomes speakers from a ‘broad array of perspectives.’

Ibram Henry Rogers, who also goes by the name Ibram Kendi, has been raking in the big dollars from universities while saying that every American institution is racist.

University of Virginia, founded by Thomas Jefferson and considered a high-quality university, paid Kendi $32,500 for a one hour speech on the controversial CRT.

The University of Virginia (UVA) spent $32,500, or about $541 per minute, to host prominent critical race theorist Ibram X. Kendi for an hour to discuss ‘racial equity,’” the Daily Wire reported.

Other media outlets have called attention to the lucrative speaking contracts Kendi has. $32,500 is a big boost from his past college speaking contracts.

“Kendi, who wrote several books on anti-racism and has popularized the term, appears to have made over $300,000 in the past several years based on records obtained [by The College Fix],” the conservative news organization reported in March 2021.

The College Fix obtained seven contracts that totaled $91,500, which works out to about $13,000 per speech. Kendi’s speech fee has apparently almost tripled in just several years.
