Radical Election Focused “For the People Act” Dies in US Senate

The Senate version of the “For the People Act” failed to advance by a 50-50 vote, with all Democrats, including Joe Manchin, voting to advance the bill.

The bill, which would essentially nationalize elections and undermine state election integrity efforts, has been falsely referred to as a “voting rights” bill.

Ironically, left-wing organizations and celebrities have poured millions of dollars into efforts to promote the sweeping legislation. The 800-page bill would implement federal election regulations, direct taxpayer funding to candidates, and even allow politicians to draw a salary from campaign donations.

Republican state election officials from across the country had decried the legislation as a federal takeover of their constitutionally granted power and a gift to corrupt politicians. Many viewed the bill’s demise as a major victory for election integrity.

Do you think the “For the People Act” is a transparent partisan power grab from Democrats? Is there any issue more pressing than election integrity? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
