New poll shows Glenn Youngkin leading Terry McAuliffe in Virginia

Youngkin has gained ground after leaning in on cultural issues like critical race theory.

Virginia Republican Glenn Youngkin may pull off an upset next week after leaning in hard on critical race theory and parental rights.

Youngkin started his campaign running as a business-as-usual, moderate Republican. But he has seized on important cultural issues to surge ahead in front of Terry McAuliffe.

“The race is largely focused on education and this has energized Republicans, as 79 percent of Youngkin supporters are ‘extremely’ interested in the election compared to 69 percent of McAuliffe supporters,” Fox News reported.

Do you think Youngkin can win in Virginia? Do you think Republicans need to be bold and try to win the culture wars? Let us know below!
