Merrick Garland’s son-in-law owns education company that supports critical race theory

The attorney general recently ordered the FBI to investigate parents who speak out against the racist ideology of CRT and who oppose COVID restrictions.

Attorney General Merrick Garland is facing questions about a conflict of interest. The AG has a son-in-law who co-founded a pro-critical race theory educational company.

“The education company co-founded by Attorney General Merrick Garland’s son-in-law is facing fresh scrutiny after it was revealed the company supports critical race theory curricula while servicing 23,000 schools in the nation, costing tax payers hundreds of thousands of dollars — while Garland cracks down on opposition to the ideology,” the New York Post reported.

“Amid criticism from parents and politicians over the intentions behind the order, some are questioning whether Garland has a conflict of interest due to his son-in-law’s company,” the Post said.

“Panorama Education, co-founded by Xan Tanner, sells surveys to school districts nationwide with a focus on ‘social and emotion climate,’ according to a report by Forbes.”

“In 2018, Garland's daughter Rebecca married Xan Tanner, co-founder of Panorama Education, a consultancy tied to Facebook's CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Zuckerberg's charitable foundation – dubbed the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative – was listed in 2017 as one of several organizations that gave a collective $16 million to Panorama, which would use that for social-emotional efforts,” Fox News reported.
