WATCH: Psaki Says Biden Helping Small Businesses By Nominating Woman To Lead SBA

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was faced with ridicule when she sat down for a Q&A on Tuesday and said that President Biden is helping small businesses by nominating a woman to lead the Small Business Administration (SBA).

When asked over Twitter what Biden is doing for small businesses, Psaki replied “First and foremost, he nominated a woman to lead the Small Business Administration who formerly worked there. The second thing is he signed an executive order to make it easier for minority-owned small businesses to get access to the funding that they need. And third is that in the American Rescue Plan, there’s currently about $60 billion to help a range of small businesses get access to additional funds.”

Psaki was immediately ridiculed for suggesting that a woman would be one of the answers to small businesses and it was immediately pointed out that Donald Trump had selected Jovita Carranza to run the SBA during his term as President.

When previously asked about the stock market, Psaki once again pulled out the gender card and said that Janet Yellen is the first woman to ever be Treasury Secretary.
