WATCH: Sean Hannity Presses Herschel Walker, Asks If He’s Running for Senate in Georgia

Former Georgia Senator David Perdue (R-GA) recently announced he would not attempt to run against Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA) in the 2022 Elections, sparking rumors throughout the country about whether Heisman Winner Herschel Walker would potentially run for the seat.

Reports surfaced that Senator David Perdue met with former President Trump in attempt to secure his endorsement and the former President was unable to commit because of the potential for others to run.

Most notably former Representative Doug Collins (R-GA), a staunch supporter of President Trump, might enter the Senate race in Georgia. Collins lost a tight primary against Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) for the special election.

Loeffler has not ruled out the potential for her to run again in 2022 as well.

However, maybe the most interesting name being floated in political circles is Herschel Walker, the former Heisman Winner and University of Georgia legend.

Walker has been a longtime friend of President Trump, even playing for his team the New Jersey Generals in the USFL during the 80’s.

Walker is still considered a hero to many across the Peace State and would certainly provide an outsiders mentality to the US Senate.

While interviewing on Hannity with Leo Terrell, Walker was repeatedly pressed to run for office in the state.

Watch the interview segment below:

Walker refused to answer the questions directly, saying that before he wants to make a decision about running for office, he wants to secure the election process in Georgia.

Do you think Herschel Walker should run for office in Georgia? Would he win the election? Comment your thoughts below!
