COVID-infected illegal migrants secretly housed in Texas hotel
A group of them decided to go to a public restaurant, possibly infecting workers and exposing other customers.
There is a disturbing story that speaks to broader issues with how the Biden-Harris White House has botched immigration policies since taking office.
“Authorities in South Texas said Tuesday they've learned that illegal immigrants who have possibly tested positive for COVID-19 were being released from federal custody to a Catholic charity, which booked hotel rooms for them without notifying local officials,” Fox News reported.
“The La Joya Police Department said a patrol officer was waved down Monday by someone concerned about a group that appeared to be sick at a Whataburger fast food restaurant,” Fox News said. “The officer found a family inside who were coughing and sneezing and not adhering to health guidelines, including the wearing of masks, authorities said during a news conference.”
The governor of Iowa has also raised concerns about migrants spreading coronavirus.
“Part of the problem is the southern border is open and we’ve got 88 countries that are coming across the border and they don’t have vaccines so none of them are vaccinated and they’re getting dispersed throughout the country,” Governor Reynolds said recently.
