California county reinstates indoor mask mandate, even in private homes
Liberal politicians and health officials have used COVID as an excuse to implement authoritarian measures that violate civil liberties.
Nearly two years after COVID first began to spread from Wuhan, China to the United States and after almost a full year of a free and widely-available vaccine, leftists in California are reinstating authoritarian measures.
“Santa Cruz County public health officials have reversed themselves and are once again requiring people to mask up indoors as cases rise ahead of the holidays,” KPIX reported.
“The county health department is requiring that people wear face coverings in indoor settings, including in private homes,” The Blaze reported.
The crackdown raises questions on if Americans will ever be completely free from authoritarian COVID lockdowns. Many Americans have moved on and some have chosen to take a COVID vaccine.
But for leftists, they refuse to give up even a bit of power for very long.
“Santa Cruz County lifted its mask mandate on September 29 as more and more people were getting vaccinated and case numbers were dropping,” KPIX reported.
