Senator Ted Cruz angrily tweeted out on Friday afternoon that, “These are the pictures the Biden administration doesn’t want the American people to see. This is why they won’t allow the press. This is the CBP facility in Donna, Texas. This is a humanitarian and a public health crisis.”
The photos tweeted out by Cruz show a overcrowded facility in conditions potentially worse than those under the Trump Administration.

Biden has refused to call the uptick in border crossings by unaccompanied minors and family units a crisis at this point. The Administration has also provided extremely limited access to the border operations and facilities.
