Gates Foundation Behind Effort to End White Supremacy in Math

The Gates Foundation is behind a new project to remove white supremacy from math curricula across the country.

According to the group, A Pathway to Equitable Math Instruction, the Gates Foundation is the only donor listed on their website. Yes, this is the same Gates Foundation run by Bill and Melinda Gates, of Microsoft fame and the same Gates that are force delivering vaccines to children in Africa, buying copious amounts of land in the U.S. in order to curb climate change, and who magically helped predict the COVID-19 pandemic months before it happened.

This new world saving venture, according to the group’s website, will include “guidance and resources for educators to use now as they plan their curriculum, while also offering opportunities for ongoing self-reflection as they seek to develop an anti-racist math practice’. While helping to save the country from racist math practices, the group also realized “that the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on communities of color has exacerbated the historic and systemic inequities experienced by Black, Latinx, and Multilingual students. We therefore embraced the responsibility to simultaneously create equitable access to quality math instruction for 6th-8th graders in the 2020-2021 school year, while continuing to confront systemic racism and individual beliefs rooted in racism”.

For the record, math classes usually involve the Pythagorean Theorem, geometry, algebra and trigonometry; however, this system of mathematics seeks to involve critical race theory, Marxism, and a dash of postmodernist thought into its curriculum. In a lesson called “dismantling racism in mathematics instruction” these ideologies were on full display asking the reader to remove harsh criticism as getting the “right answer” or showing “individual” work, as collaboration is much more important than either.

If this is to be implemented going forward, everyone must ask themselves, “Would I rather cross a bridge that had an engineer that worried about the correct measurements or by one who cared more about racial “equity” in his design?”
